About Connie A. Baker
Meet Connie A Baker, a Licensed Professional Counselor from Portland, Oregon! With almost 20 years of clinical experience and a lifetime of people-helping professions, Connie is always looking for creative ways to inspire agency, self-confidence, and curiosity through her interactions with others.
Connie has experienced the magic of a powerful, well-formulated question – both in her own life and the lives of her clients and friends. She deeply believes that asking the right questions can be the catalyst for profound transformation. She knows that a well-formulated question can be the difference between a breakdown and a breakthrough, and she’s not afraid to ask the tough ones.
In addition to running her private counseling practice, Connie is a seminar teacher, conference speaker, clinical supervisor, writer, trauma recovery specialist, and trained life coach. She is the author of Traumatized by Religious Abuse: Courage, Hope and Freedom for Survivors.
When she’s not busy helping her clients and her online community reclaim their power and agency, Connie can be found reading (and re-reading) her favorite book series (hello, LOTR and Harry Potter), having coffee or lunch with her favorite people, and planning international and local travel with her truly wonderful husband. She also travels regularly to see her three kids and two (most delightful) grandkids.
